The first is my favourite, and it works well with the second (I can see a project of centrally placed, square cropped flower heads coming on). My only niggle (and it is only a niggle) is that the daisy in the second shot is tilted ever so slightly as it is rested on the surface. I think to follow the first image it would be better if it was supported with something underneath so the surface plane is straight on with the camera.

I have a feeling a square crop project is coming soon for me too - I have been cropping quite a few shots to square recently for some reason. It seems to just work on what I have been taking of late...
