Sony a550

Hi is this camera worth waiting for. I am new to this and have held a sony and liked it but also liked the nikon d90

What do you people think.

well, what are your needs & do you have any existing lens/accessories for either system?
The A550 has some nice features & high ISO shots look very impressive.
I believe that it's due out in the UK in about 1 week.

edit: apparently Sony UK started sending out stock to retail this week.
