Sound levels

Took a video of a live music performance and unfortunately the sound level was set far too low. Is there anything I can do to bring it up a more normal level before posting to youtube.

Not saying it is impossible or not to bring up sound levels but what else would come up with the sound as well. There may be people talking nearby to ruin the music let alone maybe bad language, something defiantely not wanted. First of all I would see what it sounded like when the sound is increased on computer extrnl speakers turned up. Not much help I know but all I can suggest

Not too worried about all of that Bazza, this was a personal thing for a friend. Just thought there maybe some software that allows sound levels to be increased and saved.

Most editing software will let you turn up the sound levels, in Premiere Pro you just right click on the clip and select audio gain.

Failing that, extract the sound from the file and use Audacity (free) to doctor it.
