This chubby little guy was in an enclosure for other, more exotic birds, and he knew it! He had obviously had his fill of their food, and was sunning himself on the best branch. All I had to do, was to keep the zoom under control and at f4 (it kept impersonating a trombone, even on spot focus.

Thanks for the comments chaps.
The collared doves and blackbirds in my back garden, tend to fluff themselves up to make themselves seem larger, when other birds are around, could this little chap have been doing the same?
 
I think she was just sunning herself. Lovely shots, so cute. :)
