Speedlight Leads?

You can buy them from Quantum (www.qtm.com)

Or go for a DIY option, which will cost a few pence.

Both create fake batteries that go into the battery compartment and feed 6V from an SLA into the flash.

I've built 2 DIY packs to power mine, and they work like a charm with the fake batteries (although I did hard wire my 285)

As far as I'm aware they don't sell the plugs seperately, and it's a special plug. Maybe get a quantum cable and hack it up?

Don't know if this will help but I bought a battery pack from UKhighland photo
on Ebay for £46-50 (it's the equivalent of the Canon CP-E4) now that came with a lead and battery pack for 8 AA batteries.
Use it with my Canon 580s with no problems.
Quantum leads seem to be similar in price just for the lead.

It's a high voltage port though, so you'll need to build a DC to DC transformer packs that outputs 300V to feed the socket.

I searched RS Components and CPC for those plugs on the Canon and for the Nikon speedlights with no success, so they're probably not a generic plug and you're left with buying a quantum cable, or a pack from ebay then hacking it.

£50's awfully expensive for a plug though.
