A large orb spider feeding on a green bottle happily while I did my photo shoot.
The poor dear has a war wound too.
(taken with the 350d, Mp-e 65 and MT24 ex macro twin lite.
All full size shots, no crops. can post a crop if you so wish.

Not for me John :LOL: Just had a look at 100% and it looks a pretty fresh wound to me, gross but fresh :LOL:
 
Excellent pics. The eight eye thing always weirds me out. I know they have them, but when I see them I get brain cramp thinking what do they do with all that visual info!
I have no idea, I guess as they don't have a neck, all round vision is the only way to keep safe :LOL:

Andy I tend to use manual mode mostly but do use ETTL now and then.
