Spooky mono church

I took this wanting to achieve a surreal spooky effect. Was taken at sunrise as I wanted the long shadows and strange light to add to the effect. Comments would be great. Thanks.

I like this, I did a similar shot a few years ago with stormy sky's, old chapel and a white gravestone.

totally agree on the contrast. the softness i actually induced with a slight blur to give it a weird feel so may take that out. its weird how others have suggested toning the contrast down, but i agree with you that the contrast is necessary.

Doesn't look soft to me, and what would noise do to enhance the picture?

I like the picture, but I would increase the exposure just slightly (masking out the rather well exposed cross on the left).

If you have the RAW, I would increase exposure by 1 and then increase the blacks quite a bit to keep the nice shadows.
