According to the national news these were shoplifters trying to get away, but given the way people behave these days could well be road rage

I don't really have any backstory, but it *looked* like someone had bumped a car and then panicked. An angry mob gathered and they were so frightened they escaped by battering their way through the carpark.

Maybe they WERE shoplifters? If I'd been in the car then I'd have been pretty scared to get out.

I noticed that some people in the video were wearing Tesco uniform sweaters.

Did a search and it would appear that the cars occupants were involved in something criminal

Car has now been found , just got to trace the occupants
