Stanstead at night

I had a brief evening time visit to Standstead, first time there for me. Still learning the night photography and don't really have the right lens for it, but it was such a beautiful night I couldn't resist.

Really nice shapes in the trails but they are sort of spoilt a little by that fact that you've not allowed the plain to go out of frame before ending the exposure :shrug: I think that would have improved the images IMO

Looking at your exif data is shows that all these were 30 second exposures, making me think that you've not got a remote/trigger, getting one will allow you to go past the 30 second exposure mark

I was thinking the same........ however I think if i spent all night at Norwich International Airport........ I'd catch a load of sky and sod all planes.......... we have about 10 a day........... most of them are flybe...
