Starling in the sunshine

We had a great weekend down in Northumberland and I caught this one sunning itself on the rocks across the causeway from St Mary's Island.

Well done on capturing the iridescent colours

I'd be inclined to crop some off from behind him and a slither from the bottom to remove the line of oof green.

I'll have a look and see if I can get away with further cropping!

That is a lovely shot Ian and the colour and tone of the surrounding sets it off nicely. Will remove if you wish but I did an edit, well it is 4.00 in the morning and I am bored Cropped as per Tina`s suggestion and also ran it through Neat Image, adjusted levels and curves slightly and then a slight sharpen again.

Starlings seem to be a bit overlooked, yet the colours are spectacular, well done on this capture. I think Rich's edit has the edge especially with the crop, but you caught a great image
