Stars and Stripes

I had the idea after recent attempt at playing with transition photo's to shoot a light trail and then bring in some stars into the scene

The trail was shot this evening while the stars were actually shot a couple of months ago

Very nice Matt, but what you want is two exposures. One for the light trails and one for star trails, then merge them together. I think movement in the stars would compliment the light trails.

Thanks Allan, this is two exposures I've layered a light trail photo from yesterday and then a star exposure from a couple of months ago, and then merged the two I guess I could have done it as star trails
