Critique Starting out

Just starting out in the world of nature photography so these are a few shots I've taken. I'm getting hooked already! I really want to learn how to get better photos of animals in the wild so any advice is most welcome.

Hi Tom and welcome, just my thoughts on these. All look pretty sharp, I am not a fan of B&W on animal shots so I wont go into #1 too much other than it kind of works. As for #2 personally I would have favoured not to have had the top and right of the birds head cropped off, lastly #3 a nice shot, perhaps a bit more adjustment on levels to give it a bit more punch. Also wondering if some needs to be lost from the top and give it a bit more foreground if possible. Still a very good start though.

I really like #3 but you've just missed focus on the head. If you can nail this shot it will be a great achievement.
