I like it. The colour toning is good and aside from his left sleeve being a tad hot the exposure is good across the frame. I think I'd prefer to see all of the engine, or a more severe crop - it looks like you meant to catch the whole engine but missed!

I was going to say exactly what Phil has put with regard the crop. It's too tight for me. I can't comment on what was outside of the frame and this may have restricted how much you could put in the shot but it would have been nice to see some more. And I agree that, alternatively, a tighter crop towards the 'action' would also have worked.
 
Thanks guys for the comments and tips. Well I shot it with the 50 f/1.8 and the place from where I was standing that's the best I had achieved and my novice skills were put to test.
