Hi

I was wondering if anyone have ever bought (or used) these generic strobe kits on ebay before?
Are these worth spending money on for a small home studio?
If not, what do suggest I go for?

Thanks in advance,

Start with 1 light from a half decent manufacturer.
Look at Lencarta. Good quality and reasonably priced.
You then need a light stand and some light modifiers (umbrella is the usual one to start with and are cheap) add triggers to sync to your camera and a 5 in 1 reflector and you will be good to go.
Give us an idea of what you would like to spend

I am thinking around £100 for softbox, umbrella, stand, reflectors and strobe. I could always make the backdrop myself.
