That's right guys. Fieldfare guarding the apples all morning. Attacking everything blackbird size or smaller.

Useless at judging distance, but having looked at the close focus distance of the Sigma, I had to move back a little for the blue tit, so certainly less than 2.5 metres. Using that as a yardstick, I'd say the fieldfare, woody and treecreeper were probably about 7.5 metres away. The jay 15metres+
