I took this from the Stenaline boat just coming back into Ireland from Holyhead. Any tips or criticism would be appreciated.

I love it! but my eye keeps getting drawn to the cloud at the top i looks weird

oh yeah never thought of it like that might see if i can dull it down a bit in photoshop so it doesnt take your eye from the sun

Its very nice, I think you could improve the composition by moving the sun more off centre, try cropping and inch or so off the bottom this should move the sun and place it more off centre.
