Score, 1 to me lolGood DR and details!
I think they are the same just the colour is different.•
I've never seen "live" one of these!
Do they seem to have a longer neck and a shorter body, Graham?
I would have to spent sometime observing the whites and black
together to figure out which I would prefer.
I think he means he likes this shot [emoji106]•
You've succeeded, with this swan, the less natural looking
rendition of that bird I've ever seen, Ann! This is not a bad
observation from my part but the full acknowledgement of
a well inspired and tastefully achieved artistic intent.
Your bird looks like made of alabaster, or other plastic rock,
that convey beauty and transparence at the same time. It is
with immense pleasure that I write this. Thank you, Ann.

Darn right!I "think" you like it?
Pin sharp can be a feature on an image so is artistic intent!…I know everyone likes pin sharp images with lots of detail…
Better? Better than what? I don't know… but what I know is…i like a softer look and on this occasion i felt this was a better option?…
Cheers Kodiak, it was done in camera, I had a play with the picture control settings then shot in RAW and jpg today, some shots I didn't care for the camera processing in jpg, this one I did•
Now, that's some great rendition of a cool capture, Ian!
Yep I do realise that Kodiak thank youThese only affect JPGs… you know? … and not the RAWs!

Very nice takes, here Tom!
For the challenge of it, try getting the head and neck centred
in the reflection like in shots #3 and between the wings #2.
Did you try to raise the shadows in #1?
he followed me along the river for over an hour.
It was shot in low sun and to the eye had a rather golden hue, so no I didn't forget the wbSo, you keep good company, Robert!
Btw, it looks strongly like a she!
Had a hard time with the WB or just have forgotten it, Robert?
