Hi folks, Would someone please help me! I am serching for a AF VR zoom-nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D teleconverter for this lens, has anyone got one, can you help find one ?
 
You need to use a Kenko Pro 300 DG. The 1.4x should still autofocus, I doubt you'll have any luck with a 2x.

Not wishing to contradict Andy as he has more experience than I have, but I've just tried that combo on a D80 and it struggled to focus properly but was fine on my D700.

It may be that I have got the D80 set up correctly and it is rather dark this morning, but just throw that in.
