A simple one from Ashness Jetty on Derwentwater.
Shot to death and mine's not really unique enough to differentiate it from the masses but here we go anyway :)

Decided to shoot it with a more central horizon as there was some nice movement in the dull clouds and I liked the blue colours.

Canon 6D // 17-40L // 15 seconds // f16 // iso 50 // 17mm // LEE 0.9SE

Your image of the jetty looks nice and the blues definitely work for me.
On a point about the jetty itself and others in the area, I preferred when they were a little weathered and had more character.

I see what you mean ... looks a bit like B&Q decking!

Love the colour in this shot, and very peaceful location by the look of it :)
 
No problem about it having been done before - hey I was there last year as well :p

I like this one. I converted mine to mono (again as many do) but the overall blueness works on this one.

I have this mono conversion too. of a wider landscape orientated shot :)
Lovely place, I'm back there on monday running a workshop so hopefully we should get some nice shots with snow on the peaks :)
