Love the composition, the choice of props (the Distressed books and rich saffron yellow cloth in particular - the saffron made me think of the rich egg yolk...) - and the "patina'ed" Egg Cup (or Silver Goblet) with the birds nest below.

Good Choice on keeping the "eggcup" patina'ed - polish it up and it'll be a nightmare in photo's - you wouldn't believe the number of unintentional "selfies" i've taken with my reflection in Glasses, Candlesticks, Hourglasses et-al...
