The joy's and sadness of sports

Here are few shots from last weekend.

This first one is an image from the medal ceremony of the team that came second in the Finnish premiership (football). By losing their last two games, they threw away the championship. And the looks say it all...

They say silver is a medal you lose, see for yourself

This second offers some joy of sports, this guy has just scored a hat trick and celebrates it ...

When you score three goals in a game, you deserve to celebrate (looks better when you see it large)

I shot the games for local newspapers and both these images ended in the paper (alongside some action shots).
Also the team called me few days later and wanted to make a poster of the celebration photo.. apparently one of their sponsor logos is showing very well on the image... Yes.. that's exactly what I was aiming for... *hehe*

(p.s I know the hockey stick in the celebration photo is not ideally placed).

Nice photos, would have been easier if you'd put them in the thread rather than the link as your website is very slow.

Not sure about your use of the .org extension for a for profit business either.

I don't do football, so I will never understand the emotion of the game. I laugh every time I see 4 million people sing and get pished after 22 monkeys run around a pitch for 90 minutes.

Anyhoo, saying that, I do like shots, nice and sharp
