First up is Storm Pere x Lanner hybrid.
A great gull and corvid bird
Today for some reason, the Lanner part of her took over and she went ground game hunting.
2 rats later and a bit of a wound in her foot she is resting following a long soak in a bath.
Hanging out to dry
A good crop full of chick and actually she don't care
Next up is the fat bitch.
A replacement hawk that was supposed to respond at 2lb 7oz
(people always lie about the hunting weights, thinking biggest is best,
but this is not always true)
Anyhow, after a 3 weeks of re-training she began to work at 2lb 5oz
today, at a tad under 2lb 4oz, right after these were taken she tried
to kill me (see below)
I need to get her out there to channel that aggression
Evil looking sod!
(Although Harris Hawks are one of the most biddable hawks)
A close up of the dismembering tackle
As above not a particually good shot as it was a "grab"
but you get the idea
