The Vicarage..

Were you using HDR on any of these shots? I can see a halo on the second shot. I think the compositions of the first two shots are a little muddled, with the various different elements competing for your attention. I definitely prefer the 3rd shot as the large gravestone in the foreground draws you into the frame.
 
Thanks for your comment Stranger..No, there was no HDR, highlights were tweaked a lot which is I think what's giving the slight halo
