Our back garden really seems to have become the local hangout for Dragonflies (not complaining). Came home tonight and very quickly came across seven or eight with others flying in and out all the time. One bush in particular definitely seems to be the local "pub" for them or something as approaching it too fast results in them flying in all directions :LOL:

Anyway, few pics below, as always critiscism very happily accepted, infact requested. :)

ID's wise fairly sure the first three pics ID are right (two different Dragons), I think four, five and six are but not 100% sure (two different Dragons), but no idea on the last one, so if anyone would confirm IDs for me I'd be grateful :)

Nice shots Ian, isn't the last one a Southern Hawker, (Aeshna cyanea)?

sometimes it is called a Blue Hawker
