Title says it all :D

Managed to grab my camera before he gained conscious and took off!

Not very often you're able to get so close to such a bird (I'm sure it's a Wren)

nice series - novel way to get a speedy wren to stay still for a few seconds :D

Are you in the 'Forces'? If so.................................

Do your bosses know a WREN was knocking at your window? :naughty:

Great captures, love the detail, what combo were you using

AND lastly why is my camera always on the wrong settings/lens when something happens around my house.

Thx for the comments.. :D

Ex British Army - Hence living in Germany (y)

Combo: Canon 50D + Canon EF-S 17-55 F2,8 IS USM (y) Only had the lens 2 weeks or so and it's awsome..

lovely shots, it looks a bit dazed..wonder if it was being chased by something that made the big bang possibly a cat, sparrowhawk or an RAF officer lol.

Superb shots Martin.

Whilst I'm sorry the little fella hit your window, it did mean we get to enjoy such clear, close shots of these garden beauties.

They never stay still long enough to get shots like that where the bird is looking right at you.

Well done. Really like those.

i've had a lot of birds hit my windows, biggest one was a sparrowhawk and he died, beautiful markings up close though

great shots, suprised you didn't make him panic though

Fantastic shot, good DOF. Particulary love the first photo (Wren-Portrait). Well done, love them all! :D

nice shots and glad he survived which is more than a sparrow did after hitting our patio door this afternoon, mind you one hit it this morning and flew away

You were lucky the camera was to hand. Lovely shots

^^ I was lucky and thank you for the kind words..

Couple more...

5) - Wren - Ouch my head!

6) - Wren - Shacky legs - Compared to the wood screw it goes to show just how small he really is!

Great shots...............:clap::clap:

I'm ex-RN. I used to dream of a Wren knocking at my window:D

Be honest - you got him with a Taser, didn't you?

Only joking, great shots and well done for making the most of the opportunity!
