I am conducting a project this year capturing a selection of views from in and around my town of Congleton.

We are only small and recently we got a hilarious mention on the Royal Family (tv show)

I have decided to capture a numerous amount of images and at the end of the year exhibit them in our local town hall. We don't have many contemporary photographs of Congleton.

This is first.

It is a gorgeous sunset captured setting behind my High School which I attended for 5 years (1993 - 1998)

Right place, right time with the camera there, well taken.
 
Quite a striking, moody sunset well done.

Taste is subjective of course but the size, colours and placement of the text overlaid on the image somewhat trashes the impact, shame.

Royal family.. "My Arse", isn't it.. Royle family? Pedantry aside.. I know and like Congleton, it'll be interesting to see your set develop and see if I recognise any snaps.
