Nice Images people (y)
Yvonne, I love that expression on the primate that is getting the nipple tweak :D

got to have a meerkat in here....

And I was very pleased to capture this action shot of the baby cheetahs. Not the greatest, but from my non-DSLR camera, through glass, right to the back of the enclosure, for an event that lasted maybe a second, I think pretty good. :)

I was just going through all my zoo pics the other day, finally sifting out the poorer ones.

Then remembered this cute little fella

Great pics everyone

So hard to try and limit it but these are my favorites (today!)

Sadly Ranshan passed away earlier this year. I was lucky enough to visit the WHF a few months before:

I love interaction between the animals and this was great

I also like photos that don't look like the animals are in zoos so this must qualify for that!

Can't believe I've hit my limit of 6 already. Printed this as a poster and I have to say it looked bloody fantastic!

There are some cracking images being posted guys (y)

Love the Mangabeys Gary!

Cheers Chris (y)

@Selena....loving that Serval image

@Pitvar...is that first one a baby Baboon? It's ears are as big as it's head!!!

Yep and feeding close to the fence - bit too close for my 300mm. The keepers had just fed them with watermelons which was good to watch!

I love Snow Leopards, good shot too. You try it in black and white?

Two funny monkey pictures, love the pose in the first.

Heres one of my favourites, but if comments are to go by on the forum its not a crowd pleaser.
Still, you dont get to see many.

Ooo a mongoose :shudder: :D

Very nice Les (y)

Meerkat looks like he's letting one rip!

Wouldn't you, if you were about to be trampled by a few ton of muscle and sinew ?
:D

Too many? let me know and Ill delete some :)

It is really ;)
I was only looking for a couple of shots of those that you considered
your best or favouite from the year.

Try starting your own thread in the zoo section, you may well get more "exposure" and comments there (y)

This really has to be my favourite of the year

And of course the whipsnade cubs

Snowy Elephant, hope we get more this winter

and the elusive Bonny

More cracking images guys (y)
As before Ingrid I love the red Squirrel :)

and the Ocelot Lynne
That Tiger is very sharp too:)

well jealous of that uncluttered red panda shot.
all the cubs/kittens etc are sweet! especially the lion cub (y)

Great shots everyone.

I think I'd seen lots of them but that Lion cub is too cute and that Tiger portrait is beautiful.

Loving the B&W gibbon Phil. I think they have to be one of my favorites to watch...they always move with such ease and speed.
