I've been meaning to take the camera down to our allotment for some time now as there are loads of toads at the moment.
This little guy was very obliging - and was tiny (oh no, that's my newt - wrong amphibian).

There's an area on the allotment plot next to us that has been covered in black plastic to keep down the weeds.
It's just sludge on the top of that.
The toads hang out just under the edges of the plastic as there are loads of worms and other edible critters under there.
To give you some idea of scale he's only just the size of my thumbnail!!

Wow lovely little fellow. I'd love to find some toads around here, I only ever see frogs. Apparently the do a toad rescue scheme along some of the country roads nearby. Might see if I can volunteer to help.

Anyway, very nice capture, just a shame about the pun
