They're not built for speed Pete - they tow a huge sled with an enormous moving weight on it. The aim is to tow that sled the furthest distance with the greatest weight - it's all about power and torque. The noise is usually phenomenol, you should look up about jet powered tractors!!

The rear wheels are doing about 90mph. But there's a heck of a lot of slip.
100m takes between 6 and 10 seconds.

I took dozens. But the steaming one is my favourite.
