Agreed re. potential for a background, but thought the title (actual origin) made a good uber-impressionistic pun.

If you screw your eyes up, you could believe it's on the right. ;-)
In practice I don't think the reality (zoom through slow shutter) matters much.
 
I don't feel the subject has anything to do with the title. I am just not getting it. sorry.

The title is the subject (or, rather, the subject is what's described by the title), but it's not that important.
I was moderately pleased with the outcome [1], and have used a section of it elsewhere as a background.

[1] Others may be less so. :)
 
I disgree. I believe shots like these can make excellent abstract prints; and I think that with a wee tweak here and there, this has that potential.
(But then I'm a sucker for abstract).
