I took a trip to the beach closest to my village. It's about a 6 mile round trip on foot and a Holly challenge walking back but it's really worth it as not many people go there because of the walk to it, even if you park at the farm near the footpath.
Both images were taken with my Canon 600D and Samyang 14mm f2.8 lens.
The smokey waves image was using my neutral density filter at a 1 second exposure iso 100 using av mode an f11. If I tried to completely darken off the filter I'd get a black cross through the viewfinder?
The last image was 100iso trying out a mode again and f11. I can't remember the shutter speed atm.
The beach is so unknown that I spent the whole day there and never saw a soul on it, only people walking the coastal path way above.
