Two very distinctive cathedrals, viewpoints and styles.
1)

Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral

2)

York Minster

This one literally is just a snapshot taken with my iPhone while I was out and about which proves you don't need an expensive camera to get good results !

That said, I keep meaning to take my DSLR, tripod and filters I would really like to capture a dramatic sunrise or sunset !

Both fantastic shots you have here. #1 stands out more for me, the HDR tones and textures really catch my eye.

Thank you it's not HDR by the way, but a single image subjected to a bleach bypass. I think it works

It would seem to give the same effect, very nice!

The inside of Liverpool Met Cathedral is amazing too. The York Cathedral shot is a bit wonky to my eye but the iPhone has coped well with the range of tones.
