Vulcan at Farnborough

I always remember this plane for it iconic sound those engines can really make the ground shake, very nice shots considering the flat light.
 
As good as could be expected given the greyness of the sky. (y)

Not sure the forecast for this week is promising much other than grey either: ( fingers crossed for a bit of blue.
 
Good shots considering. Earlier in the week when I didn't have my camera, were lovely blue skies, slight fluffy clouds. Thursday when I had mine, similar conditions to you. I think I was shooting +2 exposure.
 
I was following XH558on twitter as it was inbound to Farnborough (via Reading) ... it flew directly overhead... above the clouds - heard it though!.
That first one is great again, considering how grey it was.
 
good pics hope to get some on Sunday and have hired a canon 100-400mm so hope weather isn't too bad.
 
Love that plane, can't make the show this year & time is running out to see that beautiful bird
