This beetle imitates a wasp very well, it is only when you look closer and realise that it has no visible wings that the penny drops. It is completely harmless.

This was a stack of three shots with Combine ZP

That's a nice shot, sneeky little beetle.

Unsual insect- cracking shot Mike

Never tried the stacking method, can it be done in Photoshop CS 5?????

Ps I am NEW to CS 5 and still finding out what it can do!

Thanks everyone.

I believe it is possible to stack in Photoshop, I use Lightroom, so I have never tried it.

Combine ZP installed and runs with no problems on my Windows 7 64bit system.

Thanks John.

One of the best things about Combine ZP is that it is free, and, if it works on your system, it is easy to use and gives good results.
