Water Bounce

Had the afternoon off work and thought I'd have a play about with water bounces ... Any thoughts.

These are 2 images, wasted about 100 to get these

It's amazing what a T-shirt, 30d, and camera flash can do Lots more practice to come.

I appreciate how difficult these shots are to achieve as I tried a while back and took about 400 shots to get one decent one!

apparently if you use baby oil it moves slower than water so gives you more chance of getting the shot. i have a similar shot to this in my gallery somewhere, took a fair few shots, but my first attempts took hundreds!

Mt first attempts today, the most difficult I find was finding the focus point, as you never know exactly where the water drop will land Will have another go tomorrow. The lighting ios easy to do as well. There are an awful lot of wasted images (blurred & blank but mostly missing the actual water droplet) . Great fun and cheap to do.

Good stuff well caught.
Tried a few half hearted attempts myself without success... tried adding food colourings as well, even worse....Hmmm baby oil, good idea, nice one Matty.

I've had some success with milk.
