water lilly and the emerging damsels

When I was visiting Penshurst Place the other week I noticed in a small formal pool these damsels emerging from their nymph stage, to start with I saw only the one then noticed that there was in fact two, these are all very big crops as the flower was in the middle about 6 foot away from the edge.
