Waterfalls

Whilst in Snowdonia last July I thought I'd practise some waterfall shots.

#1 for me as well, I like that one a lot. Hoping to get out to Snowdonia in March for a bit of an expedition.

debrito, the OP has used brackets either side of the capital C but you can do Alt+0169 (on the numbpad) to get ©.

The watermark is done in Google Picasa, although I'm sure other photo editors do it such as PS.

I love Tan-Y-Pistyll Falls, not quite Snowdonia, and have been a couple of times over the last 12 months.

Visited last new years eve when there was a thick frost and it was stunning.

Great shots of it! Did you manage to walk up to the top?

I like #1 and 2. A real feeling of the scale of the waterfall.

#3 and 4 don't do much for me - sorry. They just feel a little flat in the light and the trees left and right a little distracting. Perhaps a lower angle or longer exposure would give more interest?

Yes we did go to the top of Tan-Y-Pistyll. We went up the difficult route but came back down on the track, getting back to the cafe just before it chucked it down!

The other 2 pics are of the Black Falls. It wasn't possible to get any shots lower down that day as the ground was pretty treacherous. We hope to go back there this year for another go.
