What bird please?

Taken with my short little 80-200 f/2.8. Heavily cropped and over sharpened to hopefully get a name. He was too far away and I'm too heavy footed to get closer. I think 500mm investment would come in handy at times.

Location is British Columbia, Canada if it helps naming it.

It looks like it could be a young Jay, that could be a blue flash on it's wing but I'm only on a laptop so can't be sure. The head and beak look right though. They seem to be as plentiful as sparrows in my garden here.
