Border was via stroke function in Photoshop after I cut and pasted into a slightly larger canvas.
In your original, the end of the wall distracted me as did the colour balance issue hence the crop and conversion.
 
I like the expression. If it were in a studio you'd probably be annoyed but in a home setting I think it's fine. Some of my favourite shots of my son are the less cute ones that get all the likes on social media.

FWIW, the colour version is better IMHO
 
Definite model in the making, a great shot. Though I usually prefer to see images in mono, this conversion is rather harsh on the young lady's skin, which I think is better rendered in the colour version.
 
She didn't look that happy but what a great photo. Photoshop will do some justice but B&W doesn't work well in this occasion IMO
 
This is a lovely shot. The lighting is spot on and the expression really adds some drama to the shot
