What I did at the weekend...

Went for a motorbike ride with a few mates, based ourselves in Ambleside in the Lake District, then did a few hundred miles over Sat & Sun exploring the LD and Yorkshire Dales, Pennines, & Northumbria. Here's a few pics of some of the places we visited...

Absolutely stunning. 4, 6 and 7 are my favourites. Like the different distances of the trees and then the hills in 4 and the detail in the trees. Love the sky in 7 and the way the hills 'cross over' as they go into the distance. I'm not explaining myself very well so hope you know what I mean.

#6 is my favourite from a great set. Roads disappearing from the shot are always a favourite with me. I think #2, #3 and #4 are very similar and familiar which detracts from them in some way. The colours are great throughout and capture the essence of the English countryside. Well done.
