Where have all the sparrows gone?

Wonder if this has anything to do with it?

Shot through glass with the 75-300 basic Canon zoom...didn't do bad considering I wasn't prepared at all for it.

Mine too, usually.

We occasionally get a pair of collared doves, a couple of blue tit's once in a blue moon. Mostly it's sparrows and starlings...
