Which SD cards ? Brand-name or cheap-brand ?

I am looking to buy a `class 6` SDHC card to record film onto.
My camera is Panasonic and of course they say only use Panasonic SDHC cards stated in the instruction book.

The cheapest Panasonic i found is on Amazon around £70, but have also found one from Transcend at only £23.

Does it really matter if you use a cheaper-brand card ?

I didn`t know if quality issues come into this or are all the cards the same apart from just the name printed on them.

Any help or suggestions would be great, Thanks.:)

Try 7dayshop

or

mymemory.com

I personally buy any but others will say different

Play.com own brand are made by Toshiba. A 4gb Class 6 SDHC is only £9.99 - I use them in my D90 and find them very good. Nikon recommend Toshiba.

I just get the cheapest possible cards.. I have an 8 gig Play jobby and its fine.

A lot of the 7dayshop unbranded stuff is Toshiba too, I have a pile of them, never had a problem with them
