which version ?

I've been playing around with this shot of my daughter and was wondering which people prefer (if either) and if there was anything else i could do differently.

Thanks for looking Jessica - yr right this was how it came out of camera and the first was after I'd played with it a little in aperture.

1st is much better, think I'd clone out the centre catchlight and the bits in the background and it's a winner.

Definately prefer the first one thou not too keen on the crop.

I pref the hair in the second... too much detail lost in the first for me. Just needs a little tweak of levels to give it a bit more life. Maybe I'm just the odd one out LOL.

look to move the flash off camra. You can see the light coming from above (with the shadows under the chin). The crop for me is a little too tight as well.
