We go there quite a lot in the campervan but strangely we've never been in the Summer months.
I usually just take a day trip in the car around the area as it only takes a wee bit over an hour to get there.
I think people forget what's on offer in this part of the CNP favouring Aviemore and thereabouts

A very delicate palette of tones. I initially thought it was a B&W until I scrolled fully, the sky is lovely and adds to the well spotted scene.
