Thanks for the comments, it is a lovely looking bird, glad to have seen it as it has only recently arrived at Wolseley.
The Lens was the 100-400 L, which very rarely gets taken off the camera at the moment.
As for the 60D itself, I think its an excellent camera, but must confess to still learning my way around it, such as which metering to use for which occasion, depending on subject, background, size of subject and contrast (I realise this is more my knowledge of photography rather than the camera). But I'm learning all the time and and will get the hang of it, but the camera is great.
