After seeing this bird for most of the day - it never left the "power" wires and used them as a base to hunt bees and inspects from, like a Flycatcher
some distance away, but not a shy bird at all
These are the sharpest images I could get - the problems was the back lighting from the sky - overcast - and an always changing sky as I gradually moved around it to get a shot of it's back which was difficult as it was quite high in the air
First time I have seen one here - (in the last 10 years) - and first time I've seen one
A lone bird - we will see if it stays around
The small blue tits were trying to "hassle" it with no success
