Hi All,
Recently taken a short course showing me how to use my camera lol. It's been really useful and finally understand aperture and shutter speed and how to balance them together.
I experimented at the weekend in the Cathedral, I wanted to take a shot were I can get both the colours of the stained glass and the architecture. I couldn't achieve this so using my tripod I took a two shots, and merged them in photoshop. The results aren't quite right though...
Above shows three layers in photoshop, and the basic outline for the glass.
This was my first attempt, but it looked very artificial and edges are very raw.
My second attempt is a little better, but I've lost the glasses vibrancy. I could do with perhaps mixing the two.
Let me know what you think, and more importantly how I can improve it.
Thanks,
Tom.
