I took a trip out to the woods along the Wye Valley path near Tintern today. The woodland there is fantastic with lots of autumn colour, mossy rocks, golden bracken, everything a photographer could want. I really struggled though. There must have been lots of incredible images to be found but I struggled. Also I felt like I could not spend as much time on each shot as would like as I was with my girlfriend and although she is incredibly patient, I still felt hurried.
As we were returning the cloud started to come down which definitely gave more atmosphere but it was an hour from darkness and we had to get back to the car.
Here are a few that I don't mind too much.
