No
Anyone prepared to share a good spot to take photographs on a stage at the Wyedean Rally?

In all honestly, no. Not because I won't, but because I can't.

It's not my favourite event by any stretch - is generally either very wet or snow/ice and very dark in the forest. There are no great backdrops (scenery wise) and there's no big jumps or watersplashes.

They are using 7 different stages (no repeat/re-run) so my best advise is to park up, and walk, until you find something of interest - either some decent light or where you think the cars may go sideways, over a bump or similar.

Dave has hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately the Forest of Dean, although lovely in itself, is not the best for rally photography. There are no jumps, wheel lifts, water splashes or picturesque locations on any of the stages, so find a couple of relatively fast corners and hope for the best!

Habe a good walk is the best tip.
Be plenty of water about for some splashes!
Failing that look for a fast corner or one that tightens.
And most importantly... Stay safe and have somewhere to run planned just incase!

Regards,
Jon.S
