The colour shots are genuinely amusing, perhaps due to the strong eye contact and the warmth of his/her colouring. The mono one is good, but not as strong. I take it you set the lighting up for this and knew the expressions you were going to get, so kudos for seeing through the concept.

Bless him - although he is looking glum I really like the second shot. It is a touch more sharp than the first - I'm assuming because he was moving in the first.

I was trying for a simple dog shot. Having some umbrellas and reflector as a background lends itself to shooting small dogs, this was my second attempt. Therefore I darkened/cleaned the backgrounds when necessary. I took these shots a few months ago and was just going through the library and tried to see what I could do with these ones.
With hindsight I prefered the ones that I rescued from the library as in the opening post whereas I was trying for a basic mugshot/white background such as this one (already on the dog thread)
